Mr. Raymond Sheen, PMP
Raymond Sheen, PMP, is president and founder of Product & Process Innovation, Inc. He is a veteran business leader with over 25 years of executive, engineering management, operations management, and project management experience. Ray has worked in several industries including biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and electrical distribution. Ray received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and his M.S. in Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute. As founder and president of the consulting firm Product & Process Innovation (PPI), Ray has worked with many corporations to review and improve their business strategy, engineering, manufacturing, and project management processes with emphasis in the areas of product and process development. Ray has worked directly with several pharmaceutical firms providing training and consulting for operations, quality, and engineering professionals.
Prior to creating PPI, Ray spent 9 years with General Electric in various capacities including serving on GE’s Corporate Staff where he implemented Best Practices and Continuous Improvement at 9 of GE’s businesses. Ray managed numerous engineering, manufacturing and services projects during this time, and he also served as Program Manager for the Manager Development Course at GE’s Crotonville training center, an intensive four-week training program conducted at the MBA level for selected GE managers. In addition, Ray held executive engineering management positions in several of GE’s businesses. Ray also served in the Air Force. He was an instructor pilot and program manager on flight simulators and missile systems.
